My new cichlid tank!

Postby Lito » Fri Jul 15, 2016 7:27 am

Hi all. In the process of setting up my first tank (in the cycling phase) and have a couple of questions about stocking it. First off... it's a 75 gallon / 284 liter glass tank with an Aquaclear 110 HOB filter and a Cascade 1500 canister. I'd like to stock it with 4 of my favorite Malawi cichlids... Pseudotropheus socolofi "Snow White Albino", Labidochromis Caeruleus (Lions Cove) "Yellow Lab", Pseudotropheus cyaneorhabdos "Maingano", and Metriaclima estherae "Red Zebra". My first question is how many of each can I include taking in consideration my tank, filtration systems, and fish size. I also have plenty of Texas Holey Rock in the tank for hiding. I'm also thinking of adding one species of Hap like the Taiwan Reef if that's not pushing it. Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

Take care everyone
