I went for the stick on backing in the end and it looks really nice, it also gives off a nice reflection too!

Setting up three small fry tanks in a back room and thought I'd give the blackboard paint a try as suggested - works well :tu:

I might give it a go on my fry tank as a tester too, do you still get a nice reflection?

Hi, new to the forum first time post :wave: noticed this post.... I've toyed with tones of back grounds before and I personly think you can't beat all black background.
It creates good depth and makes the fish stand out more in my opinion, I like my tank to look abit darker at the back and light at the front, does wonders for colour and gives the smaller fish abit more cover ( i think )
