Anyone thought of this?

Postby curlypete » Thu Oct 06, 2011 4:02 pm

How about flushing the toilet with tank water and filling the tank back up with tap water?

obviously some crazy plumbing and inertia needed here for this!

Im not shy when it comes to water changes, but this idea keeps coming back to me....
It would be very green and environmentally friendly! possibly not too healthy for the fish though!

might have a ponggy toilet!

Yes! and now we need a crazy plumber with large fish tanks and weak bowels to design, implement and test such an engineering feat!

There is a rain harvesting system from klargester / kingspan that does that for obviously rainwater. If you had one of these (i nearly did when i built my house) all you would have to do.is pour it down the drain and hey presto! :tu:

It depends what you do with your water, for the average family with a average amount of tanks of you are water concious then it's cheaper.

Promise - couldnt believe the difference and you can use the dirty water in the garden instead of hose.
