Hi, just thinking around the use of rock and that of water displacement. Has anyone had experience of using Aqua Roche for scaping?

My local Maidenhead has some for sale and some pieces do look attractive. Interestingly they don't use it in their display tanks. It seems very sharp to the touch and when I look at how my malawis chase about I would be concerned about them harming themselves.

I think it would look great with shoals of community fish but malawis not at all sure :td:

I've seen it in show tanks with tetras but I wouldn't recommend it in say a mauna aquarium.

On the other hand I've just remembered that I did feel some in the abyss and its not much rougher than lava rock or tuffa and those are common rocks to use with Malawi.

On their web site it is advertised for being used with cichlids. Just very expensive.

Yes it isn't much rougher to be honest than other rocks. I would say it would be fine. It's expensive Because it's a made formation. It looks good I just think it would go brown very quickly.

Think you're right. Once it turned brown it wouldn't look good.
