Waste pipe and cold feed

Postby Broggo » Fri Jun 29, 2012 6:19 am

Last night I fitted a new waste pipe to my fish tank.
All I have done is fitted a "stand pipe" (which is the white pipe behind washing machines) next to my fish tank. When I do water changes all I have to use now is a meter of hose dropped onto the stand pipe and away the water goes to the drain outside.
I plan on fitting a tap next to my tank over the weekend.
It does come in handy being a plumber :)

Just thought I'd add a pic to show how it is. Emptying tank is a doddle now :)

Thats a very good idea. :tu:

Love it.

The more water changes get easier the more fish are kept better. :tu:
