Glad you got your money back Toni, the buyer should not be allowed on Ebay again for killing the fish but they will let him carry on as will Paypal as that is where they get their money from.

hi
as somebody new to this hobby the first 8 fish i put in my tank died i phone my lfs for help they did not no what was wrong as they done my water test
BUT NOBODY TOLD ME that spray bar should be above water then i join this forum and now just lisen to experts thanks for all advice i read

it dosent if there is another method of breaking water surface tention in place :handgestures-thumbup:

too loud if it's above but I have them just below (at either end). Not that it matters cos the end caps have come off anyway so use a powerhead but yes Bixie, so long as you have something causing water breakage, below or above then alls good :handgestures-thumbup:

i didnt and no air stone i learn the hard way i just feel sorry for the fish i lost

i done the same but i done it on my fry tank only managed to save 5 fry the rest died :handgestures-thumbdown:

Thats just how I have mine, spraybars just below the water level with the water surface, no air stones.
