Aquarium backing??

Postby tucker » Fri May 20, 2016 12:47 pm

At the moment I am using the juwel structured backing in my tank but I'm starting to get a bit bored of it, I've been thinking of painting it black or blue but not to sure which one, any tips on this would be much appreciated

By the way I meant the glass and not the backing.

I went through the same boredom recently - bought a poster that was plain black - then decided I liked the original backing better!

I've been told just to use acrylic paint with a small roller. Any other tips would be most welcome.

I've always thought paint was a severe solution - what if you want to change in the future? Posters exist that have black or blue plain backgrounds - my preferred option.

You can no doubt scrape it off but depending on the site of the tank I wonder how easy that could really be? Matter of individual choice of course.

Blackboard paint is easy to scrape of if you change your mind. I like black, it gives a very good depth of field to the tank.
