Just had a look through the photo section of that website Jimbo put up and... how on earth does anyone tell the difference with half of these Vics? I love them to bits, and think they're all good looking, but there's so much similarity between many species it must be such a headache!

definitly agree with that comment check out that second fish been speaking to tony about it its horrendous!!!!

This is exactly the problem, and i think all of these were collected by Ole Seahausen and maintained at Hull ) maybe not the Kissenda but will have to check). A lot of fish were released for a BCA auction a few years ago and to the unsuspecting eye all look the same. You can not blame anyone for thinking this and am sure populations got mixed up. Damn shame and a missed opportunity to keep some of these fish that the Germans and Yanks are gloating over.

interesting to see the Python with a blue dorsal, personally the ones i have seen are not as bright orange as this but could be just conditions/food ect.
