Frontosa's are notorious for being difficult to feed especially males and from the fin shape and length and her overall shape I would say this is a female but of which variant I am not so sure, she has the colour of a Burundi - But the shape and mask of a Mpimbwe, but the fish is showing a darker colour which is normally associated with dominant males or stressed females,

what other fish have you in with this fish? Also what are you feeding them?

Hi Bob,
Only have a sucker fish in the tank at the moment, which it ignores completely, stares at it sometimes but has never made a move for it, or even been bothered by it.
Foodwise i like to vary the diet. Some days Pellets (of which it seems to like the smaller ones), and other days some Cichlid blocks (frozen) which contain seem to contain a good balance of vegetation in them too. I have also fed it peas and Krill.
