Folk usually shorten it to pearl but you are right in
saying pearl congo becca.

The settings for those shots were .. 1/200, F 9, speedlight on camera and I used a 105mm micro lens.

Take it that's in manual mode. Problem I have with manual is when I adjust the shutter priority to a high speed it sets the exposure compensation to -2 regardless of the DOF. I can only take pics on aperture priority during daylight hours and even then it struggles to get past 40 on f9. Manual works much better for me when the moonlights are on but it can sometimes be a bugger to get consistant focus

Yes that is in manual mode mate, try getting some extra light sources
into the tank, that should help increase your shutter speed.
