Brazilian fish

Just a few pics from the university field trip I did last year to the Atlantic Rainforest, Brazil. Me and a colleague conducted a fish survey in the streams around the local area with VERY limited equipment ( 2x handnets). we managed to catch 135 fish in just 2hours at 4 different sites!! here are a few pics

I'd love to do something like that. Your so lucky. Fantastic photos of what must have been a once in a lifetime trip. :tu:

was best two weeks of my life....well apart from something laying eggs under my skin on my shoulders!!! :doh:

I dont know name of wot was in my back but I do kno we tempted the larvae out with raw bacon on my shoulders :handgestures-thumbdown: !! we saw Syno's over a foot long at nite, we filmed em as we threw in a tin of sardines, they went crazy for em!!

And here's me thinking this thread was about a bit of trimmed hair underneath the fishes anal fin :doh:

woke up rather itchy with these little bumps! was caused by leaving my towel outside to dry and something got on it and thus onto me when I dried myself!!

Great biotope snaps would love a trek through the jungle as i keep south americans at present. looks sore your back just some of the
problems of the trip.
