Problems in my community tank

For anything to do with any fish not from the African rift lakes., including, marine, cold water and all other cichlids.

Well... After a weeks course of melafix and moving my water changing routine to 12L every other day ... the fish seem much happier.

Going to test the water levels tonight and see what they are at. If everything is ok I am going to purchase some more fish when I go to my LFS this weekend :)

Gunna add another 10 or so neons I think, let them settle, then get some nice platies in there aswell to keep the other one company!

Try and make sure you buy fish that have been in the country for a while rather than new weekly shop import's :wink:

maybe even try and find someone local that has Platy's for sale they have bred :tu:

No it's not that at all , it's all to do with the water they have been kept in in the country they came from , the longer they have been in the country the better adjusted they are :tu: , although the shock can bring on diseases like white spot , neon tetra disease and columnaris etc , hence why i said what I said :wink:
